Apple Music‘s next DJ to create an Africa Now DJ Mix is South African Amapiano DJ duo TxC (Tarryn and Clairise), who have become global ambassadors for the genre, with their latest single “Turn off The Lights” (2023) continuing its viral run across social media as a track that offers a glimpse at the nuanced complexities of Amapiano. “Embark on a delightful musical adventure as the vibrant rhythms and soulful melodies of Amapiano music blend seamlessly, creating a harmonious tapestry that transcends boundaries and elevates the spirit,” the duo tells Apple Music. “Experience the joyous fusion of beats and tunes that paints a musical masterpiece, inviting you to savour the rich heritage TxC uses to celebrate their musical journey.”
