For their SAFW AW18 Collection Vintage Zionist is collaborating with AFROPUNK.
The collection is a monochromatic range, which literally sets a canvas of doodled artworks and slogans applied onto the clothing for the very outspoken and opinionated AFROPUNK off-center kid. Photographic images of elaborate punk-esc hairstyles, tattoos and piercings from African tribesmen and women on ripped and distressed tees graphically tell the story of the origins of the PUNK aesthetic.
Shoes will be sponsored by Dr. Martens.
The collection will go on sale at AFROPUNK festivals worldwide, starting at AFROPUNK Fest Johannesburg in December.
Vintage Z SAFW AW18 Collection will be shown on the 27th October at 21H00, at the Sandton City Rooftop.
Vintage Zionist is currently filming their very first reality TV Show called Vintage Z on Fox Life Africa. The premier which aired on Wednesday the 4th of October centres around what happens behind the scenes in the VZ studio, as well as the personalities of the brand. The show will be aired for a total of 12 weeks.
