The Turbine Hotel and Red Bridge Brewing Co’s Upcoming Beer Tasting

The Turbine Boutique Hotel and Spa situated on Thesen Island in the charming little town of Knysna is a quirky boutique hotel housed in the historic shell of a former power station. With its luxurious spa, its elegant Island Café restaurant, the cosy Gastro Pub, a pool with a view on the wooden deck, watersports, kayaking, sunset cruise on the lagoon, hiking into the ancient Knysna Forest and paragliding from the mountains across the beautiful bays, it provides a holiday destination experience that is always slightly different.

The Turbine will be hosting a Red Bridge Brewing Co Beer Tasting on Thursday 28 January 2021 at 18h30 at the Island Café poolside, with a live performance by the talented vocalist, guitarist , DJ and entertainer Shaza. Shaza performs her own interpretations of songs selected from a wide range of musical genres and eras, from Elvis Presley and Sarah Brightman through to The Lumineers and Rihanna.

Aficionados of beers and ales and lovers of superior food are invited to savour the exceptional Red Bridge Beer Co’s beers and ales paired with the Convivial Menu Canapés – Red Bridge Craft Lager – South Africa’s favourite brew – paired with fresh Line Fish Goujons in a crispy beer batter with tartar sauce; Woodcutter Saison Ale – a Belgium farmhouse style Ale paired with Confit Duck Rillette on focaccia with roast pineapple salsa; the Prospector Golden Ale – a medium-bodied Golden Ale with streaky Bacon & Cheddar Burger; a classic American style Old Fort Pale Ale with crisp fried Saldanha Bay Black mussel spring rolls seasoned with sweet Malay spiced relish and the bold and robust Woodcutter Indian Pale Ale with braised Angus Beef Short Rib with crisp beer-battered onion rings.

The Red Bridge Beer Co & Tapas Pairing is R275 per person and the Dress code is Smart Casual.
