The Motion Journey Continues As Tresor Releases New Single

There’s no slowing TRESOR down as he continues in motion releasing the next radio single off his fourth solo studio album, MOTION, titled Makosa, featuring DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small. The MOTION journey continues with the formidable Scorpion Kings on the dance track inspired by a beautiful summer in Africa – sunsets in a vibrant African city with people living carefree, sweating and dancing their lives away.

“This song was such a fun one to write because it’s in Swahili and it has some of my favourite melodies on the album. I got this instrumental from Scorpion Kings and I knew it had something special. I wanted to write a beautiful African dance song that our people can dance to around the continent and abroad. It actually gives me great joy. I was envisaging a beautiful summer night in Kinshasa, Lagos, Nairobi, Dar es Salaam…with good food and good people living their best life in Africa,” shares TRESOR.

Multi-award-winning African Pop Maverick, TRESOR, doesn’t hold back with his latest offering. The outstanding 14-track album features guest artists Ami Faku, Msaki, Da Capo, Sun-EL Musician and Scorpion Kings (Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa) and cleverly moves through TRESOR’s nostalgic theme from his previous album and presents the listener with an album that captures the essence of moving.

Where music imitates life, MOTION acts as an indicator of where TRESOR has been; and where he is headed personally and sonically. It is a moving soundtrack to love, life, and new beginnings.
