As if the Original Glazed doughnut couldn’t get any better, with our Original Filled, we’re taking it to the next level! The magic is in the middle with three tasty filling choices, Lemon Meringue, Salted Caramel and Crème brûlée.
Lemon flavoured custards and puddings have been made since medieval times, and the meringue perfected in the 17th Century, fast forward to 2019 and Krispy Kreme South Africa introduce The Lemon Meringue filled doughnut, an original glazed ring filled with a lemon filling and topped off with marshmallow meringue. Looking for something salty and sweet, The Salted Caramel doughnut is an Original Glazed ring filled with salted caramel filling and iced in caramel icing, drizzled with caramel topping and lightly sprinkled with some salt. True to its elegant French beginning the The Crème brûlée doughnut is an unglazed ring, filled with a vanilla custard kreme, topped as a traditional crème brûlée.
The magic really is in the middle and these tasty delights will be available in all Krispy Kreme stores from the 24th of April to the 26th of May.
