Following the success of his first single ‘Switch’, Syclopes EyeV is proud to announce the release of his follow-up single titled ‘Saucin’. Taken from his up-coming EP due for release early 2018, the track features Hip Hop sensation Zoocci Coke Dope on vocals and Taku Beats on production, who also produced the smash hit ‘Naa Meaan’ by Nakia Nakai ft Cassper Nyovest.
Commenting on his new release Syclopes says, “Saucin is a trap sound that infuses the growing affluence of mainstream music.”
Although fairly new to the industry Syclopes has already had his music top local radio charts, toured with Teargas Rapper Ma-E, opened up for Black Motion and performed at popular music festivals.
Deeply rooted in Hip Hop Syclopes’ style of music is inspired by different elements and artists within the genre, with artists such as ‘Tory Lanez’, ‘Meek Mill’ and local heavy weight, ‘ProVerb’ influencing his music direction. Outside the Hip Hop community he draws inspiration from artists such as ‘Hugh Masekela’ and ‘Caiphus Semenya’.
The year 2018 promises to be a busy year for the young rapper, with plans for his second EP release and debut album already underway.
“I’m currently working on my album which will feature some of the best artists the country has to offer, as well as my EP set for release during the first quarter of 2018. Names featured will be dropped in due time but all I can say is expect quality music, music for the changing seasons and definitely music that will continue being played 20 years from now and beyond,” says Syclopes.
With the release of Saucin’s music video fast approaching, the rapper is currently doing promo tours for his new single.
Syclopes EyeV is currently available for interviews.
