Soweto Youth Festival came about as an idea between childhood friends STYLAGANG, who all have over 5 years in events and youth marketing experience under their belt. It was a brainchild of friends who saw a need of creative expression and youth development to have a new home and be taken more seriously, after they noticed a specific un-catered market who are hungry for platforms to interact, create and express their ideas and network with different personalities.
Their long-term plan is to establish a hangout spot for entrepreneurs, that aims to develop the social economy of Soweto, by attracting people with different artistic expressions, creative mindsets and passions, enabling them an environment that will be suitable for creative interaction, good music dialogues and extraordinary fashion perspective.
