Pink Concerts announced the launch of its first-ever revolving Pink Picnic Market, taking place on 25 March 2023, at Looks Lounge, Itsoseng, Pretoria. The newly established market of this picnic of beautiful music and food comes as things slowly return to post-Covid normality. Pink Concerts owner and curator Thabo Selepe welcomes shoppers, and food and music lovers to the event. This new and unique revolving market promises to grow and become a key event in South Africa’s leading entertainment calendar.

The market promises to become an important showcase for established and emerging talent in the music and culinary industries in South Africa. The 2023 occasion aims to extend its influence into the rest of South Africa as a wonderful food and music opportunity for attendees from all over the country. Entertainment and music lovers will get to see their favourite local artists such as Lebogang “Thefunny chef” Tlokana, Piano Sisters, Myztro, Sje Konka, Shizo, Abuti Xtreme, Ms Amza, Skinny deep, MDK, Katfunk and crew, Small G and Soul Sixty ascend the stage.
Existing social gatherings at food markets in Pretoria, Cape Town and Johannesburg inspired the organisers to create this revolving food market that will move from one location to the next township, city or different province. “The event’s purpose is to promote local up-and-coming talent and tourism, we also want to move away from stagnant food markets that see the same food suppliers repeatedly to revolving markets that will give opportunities to local food suppliers where and when the event will be hosted at a time to showcase what they can offer.” Says, Thabo Selepe, CEO and Co-Founder of the Pink Picnic Market.
Tickets are available for the first event at Computicket, Usave and local outlets that will be published on social media, for sale from R120 to R250 for VIPs. Follow Pink Concerts on social media platforms Facebook and Instagram.
