Gateway Media is founded by renowned actor and media personality, Thato Molamu who founded the agency in 2013 with the aim to develop a business that caters to the needs of digital migration. The company has a footprint that is focused on measuring impact in society’s, townships and corporate culture – and advocates on doing business differently by reimagining a better South Africa.

The company is also celebrating a year since the inception of its first Digital Skills Training academy called Leaders in Motion Academy (LIMA). An academy for the township, where storytellers and creatives are nurtured to give voice to their narratives through film. The Academy is a joint partnership between Gateway media and The South African Creative industries incubator.
