Reebok and Adidas Collaborate On The Instapump Fury BOOST

In celebration of the 25th anniversary of Reebok’s iconic Instapump Fury, Reebok and parent company Adidas will be collaborating to bring fans a historic cross-pollination of brands, fusing the Instapump Fury and Adidas’ famed BOOST technology.

Dubbed the Instapump Fury BOOST, this collaborative and innovative crossover defies the borders usually seen between Reebok’s vector and the three stripes brand. The comfort associated with Adidas’ BOOST tech is now part of Reebok’s legendary Instapump Fury silhouette, and is further pushing the boundaries of Reebok’s already revolutionary design.

“For many people it’s no secret that both Reebok and Adidas form part of the same family. However, up until now, we have both played in our own lanes, and owned our own individual markets,” comments PJ Morilly, Brand Director Reebok South Africa.

“However, the Instapump Fury BOOST brings two icons of the two brands into the spotlight, and encompasses the features that each of the brands’ flagship sneakers are famous for. In the case of Adidas it’s the BOOST soles, and for Reebok it’s the daring silhouette of our sneakers that fans have loved since their inception.”

The Instapump Fury BOOST will be available later this year, featuring a variety of colourways and a co-branded band wrapped around its base. The first in the collection, the Prototype, sees a white base blended together with Royal Blue and Solar Orange overlays.

Following the Prototype release, the collaboration will unleash the OG meets OG range, which honours the original colourways of both Reebok’s Instapump Fury and Adidas’ UltraBOOST. This will include the Instapump Fury’s signature yellow, crimson, and black styling, as well as a variant that features the UltraBOOST’s typical black and blue colourings. Lastly, no sneaker collection is complete without two monochromatic colourways.

Be sure to follow Reebok South Africa on Instagram and Twitter, and check out www.reebok.co.za on the 15th of November 2019 for the official drop of the Prototype.
