Photography Students Empowered Through Photo Campaign

Earlier this month, Reebok unveils its latest Classic Leather Legacy AZ campaign inspired by the themes of Love & Equality.  Against a backdrop of a year that changed everything, there has never been a greater opportunity to rebuild, reimagine and restart. This campaign has been dedicated to those creatives who champion love and equality and live to spread this powerful message.

Reebok South Africa has partnered with The Market Photo Workshop to empower young, aspiring photographers to capture love and equality through their lens. Students were afforded the opportunity to submit their own concepts around what love and equality look like to them for the chance to win a tuition or equipment bursary to further their education. Reebok South Africa will also be featuring some of their images as part of the campaign collateral to amplify their work and show how love and equality prevail throughout communities in South Africa.

Additionally, to mark the drop of this sneaker collection, and give change agents the chance to champion the message, Reebok South Africa is launching an Instagram filter. The filter integrates the narrative of Love & Equality and makes the user’s environment a canvas for change. Users of the filter who tag @ReebokSouthAfrica will stand the chance to win a content capturing course.

The campaign features two new iconic sneaker styles – one inspired by Love, celebrating the beauty of nature that surrounds us as reflected in the earthy green and neutral tones. The second style, inspired by themes of Equality, brings a vibrant splash of red, yellow, and blue to the footwear to show how a brighter world can be achieved if we start to see each other as equal.

The collection has been available in South Africa from the 9th of October and is available online at Reebok.co.za, Sandton and Canal Walk concept stores.

RRP R1 699.
