This September will see the inner city of Joburg transformed by the Visa Street Food Festival. Following on from the success of the Cape Town edition, the festival moves up to Joburg’s Maboneng precinct on 10 September at Common Ground on Staib Street, with NOLA Mayonnaise as one of the sponsors.

“For me, the food we buy on the street offers us a glimpse of the soul of a country’s cooking. At the Visa Street Food Festival’s NOLA Mayonnaise stand, I’ll be using NOLA to inspire new ways of using a product that is known and loved by South Africans in their everyday cooking. From local favourites and trendy take-aways to sizzling street food, I’ll demonstrate how to use the creamy texture of NOLA as a great flavour enhancer that complements and enhances your favourite dish, without overpowering the ingredients. NOLA inspires you to create a stir and my demonstrations will be sure to inspire you to create a stir in ways you never imagined,” says Chef Itsweng.
