Dr Lindelani Mkhize, co-founding member of MTN Joyous Celebration comments, “It has indeed been quite some time since we hosted auditions, and we feel that the time is ripe to bring them back through this online platform in keeping with the times we live in. We thank our partner – MTN – for sharing and supporting our vision of developing and nurturing talent and growing this industry. Our fans, and aspirant musicians countrywide have called on us to bring back the auditions so they can have a chance to be a part of our remarkable ensemble. We have been listening and taking time to put mechanisms in place to do so in the best possible way and we are pleased to do so through the Share Your Light campaign. The judges are entrusted with the important task of identifying the stars from the pool of all hopefuls who have submitted their audition clips – we look forward to welcoming new talent to the MTN Joyous Celebration family”, concludes Nomsa.
