Mr. Eazi, a multi-award-winning musician and serial businessman, enters the New Year by unveiling his newest venture as a shareholder in the basketball team Cape Town Tigers, situated in Gugulethu, Cape Town. Mr. Eazi credits his most recent purchase as being inspired by his mentor Jay-Z. The team, which was founded in 2019 and is currently the reigning champions of the South African National Championship with victories in 2021 and 2022, was inspired by Jay-Z.
Currently in South Africa on business, Mr Eazi expresses: “The Cape Town Tigers are the best basketball team in Africa. I’m honoured to be part of the family. See you at the next game!”.
