Master Your Shave With Philips

Philips launches new range of shavers ahead of the release of Star Wars™:

The Last Jedi

Philips has launched four new special edition Star Wars inspired shavers in time for the 15 December 2017 cinematic release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, as part of a global collaboration.

The range of shavers combine premium, cutting-edge technology with never-before-seen design features, emulating different characters from the Star Wars saga.

“The range fuses Philips high tech innovation with the Star Wars imagination factory,” said Lucy Jones, Marketing Director for Philips Africa. “The products within the range retain premium Philips shaving functionality whilst being themed around the iconic Star Wars movie collection. For example, key models in the range include our advanced V-Track Pro technology to trim even longer stubble with superior closeness and comfort,” she adds.

Mimicking R2-D2’s mannerisms with a blinking on and off light and paneling up and down the body is the Philips Shaver series SW3700, which is equipped with self-sharpening, precision CloseCut blades for a close shave every time.

The iconic orange and white colour scheme of the fan-favourite, BB-8 can be seen across the SW5700 shaver which utilises the Philips MultiPrecision Blade system to raise and cut all hairs for an amazingly precise close shave.

Utilizing the Reflex Action system on the Philips Shaver series SW6700, the glossy X-wing fighter shaver guarantees a speedy close shave. As it’s moved over the skin, it automatically recalibrates to every curve of the neck and face. The dramatic design caricatures the complex nature of Poe Dameron’s X-wing fighter, down to the scratched metal finishing and red stripes. The Star Wars features continue with a red X-wing symbol flickering during use.

Wield the force, and seek empowerment through shaving innovation with the Philips Shaver series SW5710 that impersonates Captain Phasma’s armour design.

The special edition Star WarsTM range of Philips shavers are available from December 2017 to February 2018. Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi releases nationwide in 3D from Friday 15 December 2017.
