Less Than Two Weeks To Go ………..To The Hottest Urban African Music Fest [WIN TICKETS]

BASSLINE FEST is less than two weeks away, and with the hottest acts from across the continent and globe, the stage is set for one of the most historical events in music history. The BASSLINE FEST will be the only opportunity for one to witness ‘Africa’s Tribute to Madiba’ collaboration which adds even more exclusivity to this already rare world-class line up.

The collaborators in ‘Africa’s Tribute To Madiba’, are 5 time Grammy Award Winners Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Malian icon Salif Keita and Nigerian pop sensation Yemi Alade. Led by singer, songwriter and music arranger legend Salif Keita.  Salif has written a tribute song for this occasion and will be singing a new, yet to be commercially released track, exclusively at the Fest.

The tribute will take audiences on a journey of remembrance and celebration.  Imagine witnessing Ladysmith Black Mambazo singing Bob Dylan’s ‘Knock Knock Knocking on Heaven’s Door’ with pop sensation Yemi Alade’s female voice harmonising?  Imagine Salif Keita singing ‘Ton Ton’ Live with the other two providing the harmonies on the chorus?

Imagine no more, as it’s real and it’s happening live, only at Constitution Hill.
