Jazz On The Lake takes place at Zoo Lake on Sunday 3rd September 2017 and will start at 11am and run until 5:30pm. The entrance is free.
The show will feature one of the greatest singing talents of our time Dr. Sibongile Khumalo, not only a household name in South Africa, but also recognised wherever she goes. One of South Africa’s greatest vocalists in the country, Zonke Dikana as well as Queen Cora Coleman (Cora C Coleman-Dunham), former drummer for Beyoncé and Prince, will be showcasing their mastery with a South African band of celebrated artists. Great pianist Nduduzo Makhathini, and winner of the Standard Bank Young Artist Award. Idols contestant Amanda Black whose debut studio album was certified platinum three weeks after its release. Jamaican Dancehall/Reggae singer and actress Alaine Laughton that has featured on many big hits both of her own and a rhythm section band featuring world renowned Reggae Jazz producer, arranger, song writer and saxophone player Dean Fraser.
