Spotify has launched an exciting new indie/alternative playlist featuring only local talent. SAlt will cover the freshest indie jams from artists such as Cape Town based group HONEYMOAN, The World of Birds (featured on the playlist cover) with their recent release Honey Money, indie country group The Great Yawn and so much more.
Over the last year, there has been a growing demand for indie/alternative music in the South African market. While fans can find their favourite local indie/ alternative artists under SA Rock Essentials or Chilled Vibes playlists, by curating SAlt Spotify is able to shine a spotlight on the genre and further support its growth in the local market.
The playlist is now live on the Indie Alternative Hub, for fans to follow and check in for regular updates.
