FacelessBand was founded by Tshepo Leshomo and Nkululeko Nkosi. The vocalists on the project have an impressive range of tones from Tee-jay who has a soulful raspy tone, to King Khai with a classical, jazz, and urban tone and Bunny Majaja with a sexy, sultry and voice. Chasing Dreams is the band’s debut EP, with the lead single SA–BA-WE-LI, with Teejay on vocals. The single will be available on all major music streaming platforms including iTunes, Spotify and Tidal.
SA-BA-WE-LI was produced and written during lockdown level 5, with life at a standstill the inspiration was born from a desire to live life at its fullest, to re-enter the new world with zest and vigour, and to ultimately fulfil one’s dreams. The project was a culmination of a dream that began 20 years ago.
FacelessBand is more than a musical group it a musical platform that aims to unearth talent, connect artists, brands, and audiences through a network of resources and skills. The founding members, Nkululeko Nkosi AKA Muchacho Kinn Timo and Tshepo Leshomo are seasoned music professionals recognized a gap in the market of talented artists who lack resources and a network to realize their dreams. The couple has worked on several musical productions and has a deep understanding of the business side of the music and media industry having worked at Tuerk Musick Technologies, SABC, and Star Times.
