Being at home does not mean your creative flair needs to go out the window. Absolut Vodka is continuously making sure that everyone stays home, stays safe, stays creative, and entertained. Taking place every Saturday for the next two weeks, Trevor Stuurman will host an inspiring creative artist in a conversation on Absolut’s Instagram page (@AbsolutSA) which started on Saturday, 02 May.
This past Saturday, award-winning multimedia visual artist, Trevor Stuurman hosted yet another thought evoking creative masterclass and he was joined by award-winning graphic designer, illustrator, and co-founder of Yay Abe Studio, Russell Abrahams!
Russell shared his creative journey and insight on how the current pandemic is not a productivity contest. Knowing who you are is very critical in this time of crisis and Russell echoed the importance of staying true to yourself even if the world tries to pull you in different directions. “Know your voice and trust the work that you put out. If you don’t know what you stand for it makes it difficult to differentiate yourself from everyone else. This lockdown is not a productivity contest, but rather a time to dig deep and do what works best for you,” he said.
Join in on the fun and be a part of the online masterclasses on Saturday afternoon from the comfort of your home, then spread the joy by doing something special for friends and family members who may need assistance during these times.
Tune in to Absolut’s Instagram page (@AbsolutSA) this Saturday at 3PM for the third installment of the creative masterclasses to catch Trevor chatting with Lauren Mitchell, an art director, designer and illustrator.
