Psychedelic soul artist Chiiild (Yonatan ‘Yoni’ Ayal) returns with his second single from his highly anticipated album Hope For Sale, “Awake” featuring the entrancing Jamaican-British singer Mahalia. Infused with sensual guitar and bass strings, the lustful track illustrates lovers longingly anticipating a reconnection after waiting what seems like forever. Yoni compares the feeling to “when the week’s finally over and you need to take the weight off.” Mahalia said on collaborating with Chiiild: “I love Chiiild and I couldn’t be prouder to be a part of this beautiful song. Hope you all love “Awake” as much as I do.”
