Singer-Songwriter CFunk, real name Nhlakanipho Ndlovu shared his latest offering as an EP titled ‘Pantsula Soul’. Pantsula Soul is a 6-track EP that CFunk has been trying to create since he released his first single, ‘Dubane’. He is inspired by artists such as Bryson Tiller and H.E.R, who came onto the music scene with a new wave of RnB, but he had to figure out how to deliver it in a South African style.
Notably, CFunk brings through a unique way of singing in isiZulu, as he uses a particular slang from his hometown. “Pantsula Soul is me delivering Trap Soul with a uniquely South African touch. I am doing something that relates to where I am from and reflects the type of friends I hang out with. Where I come from, a Pantsula is a guy that always knows how to get things done no matter what, a true hustler”, says CFunk.
