ASAP Shembe starts the year on a spiritual high by releasing his “SISINDISWE” music video. The video which premiered on the 5th of March 2021 comes 4 months after releasing the gospel, mellow trap fused single produced by xSipping in November 2020.
After experiencing a rough 2020 due to the Covid-19 Pandemic which interrupted his momentum and livelihood, Shembe felt weak and in his time of weakness, he got on his knees and sought strength in GOD. He wrote this song as a prayer, you hear him repeating “Feeling like ngi Sindisiwe even with my lows” which translate to “I feel blessed even with my weaknesses and obstacles” in this whole song you hear Shembe remind himself where his strength comes from, he reminds himself to turn to God not only in weakness but in strength too. The music video is a visual representation of him turning to God and reminding himself of his purpose and his blessings.
The music video was shot in Vosloorus by Nkaba reloaded, and Directed by ASAP Shembe and frequent collaborator Thomas Hazey.
