Africa Day Celebrations With DStv

The streets of Berea were alive with colour on Saturday 26 2018 during Africa Day celebrations hosted by The African Diaspora Forum (ADF), an organisation that promotes social cohesion through dialogue and sport. In celebration of the diversity in the of the diaspora and the upcoming World Cup in Russia, DStv Compact a package on the largest Pay-Tv provider on the continent partnered with the ADFs Soccer School of Excellence to generously donate kit bags and items to eight two (82) youth, as part of the #ConnectToGreatness campaign by the business. The day was filled a sea with colourfully clad participant, afro beats, a soccer game and hundreds of happy families revelling education of the continent beyond local borders.

“It is extremely important for DStv Compact to remain connected to the community and provide local content that show the diversity of the community and the beauty in the rest of Africa.” said Tlhogi Ngwato PR Manager at On Point PR. While spores of soccer lovers are disappointed that Bafana will not be partaking in the World Cup the #ConnectToGreatness campaign intends that soccer fans across the continent don’t miss out on any of the action.
