South Africa’s first premium flavoured beer, Flying Fish, recently launched a new variant to the market. The beer called Flying Fish Chill is a lighter version of the original with less kilojoules, calories and less alcohol percentage.
The Chill variant which comes in a Zesty Lemonade flavour is part of ABinBev’s expansion following the success of Pressed Lemon launched in 2013. The beer which contains 30%, fewer kilojoules and 35% less sugar is for consumers looking to extend their weekend by opting for a lighter variant to the traditional beer.
“The Flying Fish brand continues to make sure that it caters for the needs of all our consumers. Going into the festive season, we wanted our consumers to enjoy a variant of beer that is lighter in kilojoules and sugar, as part of ABinBevs lower moderation drinking goals. The beer is for consumers who still want to have a good time and enjoy something that is not as heavy. The narrative of the brand is all about inviting lovers of Flying Fish to enjoy long chill occasions with family and friends” comments Marketing Manager, Colleen Duvenage at SAB INBev.
We all know consumers want to extend their weekends and to bring this to life Flying Fish will host an event at the beginning of October to introduce product to consumers. Guests can look forward to a long scrumptious brunch, chilled music and the cold Zesty Lemonade Flavoured beer.
Flying Fish Chill is available nationally at reputable outlets in 440ml cans and 330ml non-refundable bottles.
